This was a staged project over several years. Initially, we carried out work on an entrance and driveway to allow access at the rear of the garden, laying a gravel driveway and installing entrance gates.
The patio area involved extensive spoil removal & levelling to create a tiered area. The patio itself is in fossil mint sandstone, surrounded with red brick walls and a blue brick header. There was also drainage installed.
The main lawn area of the garden was very overgrown when we started so the first task was to clear the area and appropriately prune the plants & shrubs that the customer had asked to keep. The area had a slope from left to right which was levelled so we could create a serpentine red brick edging. The lawn was laid using locally sourced turf. In addition, we laid a Prunus hedge to the bottom of the garden using traditional techniques.
The shed/summer house & the base needed to be erected carefully to accommodate the existing established Wisteria.

Excellent work, as ever from, Tony. We have had significant work done by Tony every year for the last 4 years and I wouldn’t consider using anyone else.
